Jaipur, popularly known as 'The Pink City', is the capital of Rajasthan state. Jaipur is worldwide famous for its unique Architecture and Palaces and also for its rooted belief in Meditation, Vastu, and Astrology.
All the patterns are inspired by different aspects of the architectural and astrological qualities of Jaipur. The main statement piece is a combination of the architectural damask, ferns, and plants in the background and the intricate mandala, inspired from a lotus with 8 openings which depict meditation from a broader perspective.
On the other hand, some of the supporting coordinates are a direct interpretation of the shape and texture of the great Hawa Mahal and some are a strategical amalgamation of damasks, animals, and intricate mandalas.
As a whole this collection also depicts me as an individual, with all the colors depicting some important aspects of my life and black being the most dominant color, depicting my individuality. Also, the hints of pink is also a depiction of transformation from suffering to joy in my life with a hint of love and hospitality.
