IMPERFECTION & ENTRAPMENT.
Society's image & perfection is an integral part of my life and the fear of being judged is something that fuels the idea of who to be and what not to do. The belief of something being perfect or imperfect is extremely subjective. Anything which was assumed as balanced or perfect earlier might be imperfect to us today. But that urge to live up to those expectations of being a certain way kills the creativity and traps us in a loop of societal boundaries and burdens created by self.
Surface Imperfections.
Perfection or imperfection is very subjective in the eyes of the viewers. “Surface Imperfections” is an attempt to create a perfect or imperfectly balanced or imbalanced piece according to the eyes and minds of the viewers. The colors, textures, and the pattern in the background are a few attempts to break the consistency and make the eyes wander all over the canvas.
Does it urge you to think if it’s perfect or imperfect?
“A Perfectly imperfect way to a perfectly balanced imbalance.”

Imperfection within Perfection.
Inspired by the Buddhist monks who destruct something beautiful and perfect to represent the impermanence of life. The colors are inspired by the contrasting beauty of nature. The tiles split and add up in different spots to represent nothing is completely perfect.
Let me out!
Stuck in between a mysterious place beyond consciousness, underneath several layers. The veil of protection transforms into ecstasy and unpleasant euphoria. The burden leads to losing the sense of impression whereas the unveiling leads to vulnerability. Expressing the sense of entrapment within a self-created protective veil due to expectations and the burden of society.
I'm stuck.
Stomach churns, acid burns.
That's just to visit friends.
my heart needs interaction
but just wants the night to end.
Red spotlight increases anxiety
A crowd of known people turns the heart blue,
Fear of being alone blurs clarity
But being lonely turns friends into foes.
Anxiety
Dilemma
Fear
Ambushed.
- by own thoughts
Sometimes it's easier to assume people can read your mind,
When you stand in front of them saying I'm fine.
You think they would shake you and say do not pretend,
It’s okay to express your thoughts I am only your friend.
Are you also feeling the same emotions, as I am?
