'A house is made of walls and beams; A home is built with love and dreams.' -- Unknown

What is home? Ask yourself this question!
We all have completely opposite definitions for what a home is to us but one thing that stays the same is, a home is a place where you come back to feel loved and secure. If you think about it home is just a building made out of bricks and iron. But the memories and feelings stored in every corner are what make a home, home! Every piece of wood, fabric, wallpaper got its own piece of story and memory.
This was the definition you will find on Google or on the school essays, but is this the only definition?.
I believe, No. When we talk about home why is it always have to be so bright and pure, what about the fights and disagreements while deciding the piece of wood or fabric or wallpaper? What about those screams and fights buried deep in those same corners of the walls? What about those stories which are untold and unheard?
What about the shadow, the dark, and the unwanted side of a home?

'May your walls know joy; may every room hold laughter and every window open to great possibility.'
-- Maryanne Radmacher - Hershey

This project tries to trace the shadows and evils of a home, the struggles of daily life, and the unwanted part of every family.
Every home is super colorful, painted, and decorated with love, so to capture the split side the traces are in black and white.
