"There is no problem on Earth that can't be ameliorated by a hot bath and a cup of tea."  -- Jasper Forde

Chai ki Tapri literally means tea stall. But for Indians, specifically Mumbaikars it's not just a tea stall. Mumbaikars have given their own meaning to the word ' Tapri' - a shanty tea stall strategically situated at a corner of the street or outside college campus or near offices. Whereas the Tea aka Chai is strong and sweet, energizing, affordability for all pockets availability through the day, cuts across communal and class and gender lines and the right quantity, served in small cups.
Chai ki Tapri is more of a meeting place for serious and lighthearted discussions. From serious local political issues, murder crime rape to scams and cinema fare it covers all. it sure is an interesting and versatile space.
